Being with Grief Workbook
Special price of $12 per workbook available on their website
-
Being With Grief is a new, creative workbook for young adults (and beyond) who’ve experienced significant loss. Part coloring book, part journal, and part ritual guide, this 50+ page workbook offers a low-stakes, self-directed way to engage with loss on your own terms.
Grieving in a death-denying culture is often lonely, and a lot of people and resources that exist out there for folks grieving, even well-meaning ones, attempt to censor, direct, or fix grief. This workbook does not. It offers a series of openings for whatever work the reader wants to do. It is an invitation and an offering given with full permission to feel all the ways.
We hope it offers a sense of company to those who feel they’re going it alone, a place to rage and cry and wonder, and a portal into considering the vast and wild landscape of grief as it reveals itself.
We believe that this workbook is a beautiful and important offering, and we hope for it to reach as many people who could benefit from it as possible. We are primarily getting the word out through our expansive and yet still limited community networks, and the reach that TDP could lend to the ripples of this project would be deeply appreciated.
Grief Cards
10% off with code: GRIEFCAMP23
-
Sympathy cards that don't suck. Made for grieving people, by grieving people.
In our virtual meetings and our ongoing group text, I've repeatedly heard other Dinner Partiers talk about shitty sympathy cards they received in the immediate aftermath of a loss - and how quickly those cards stopped showing up, too. Both routes cause harm to people who are already going through it. Grief Cards help people reach out - without toxic positivity or assumed spirituality. The brand's social media + newsletter are also combined to help educate people who aren't already in the grief world about 1. Some good options for what to write inside of a card, and 2. Why ongoing grief support is especially important.

Chuan's Promise
25% off all skincare products with code: GRIEFCAMP
-
Chuan's Promise is a natural skincare brand focused on sustainability and inclusivity.
Our story began in 2020: At 27, I became my dad's primary caregiver when he was hospitalized. During this time, I stopped taking care of myself and the stress impacted my skin. I couldn’t find options to treat my skin, so I created them. My experience caregiving for and then losing my dad taught me the true importance of self-care and made me remember my dad's way of saying goodbye. Before sending me off, instead of saying 'bye', he'd make me promise to take care of myself. Chuan's Promise is named as a dedication to my dad and his request for a promise: a reminder for all of us to take care of ourselves.

Feel free to also peruse the other zines that deal with voice, politics, and community!
Remembrance Grief & Loss Support Game
5% off each game with code: GriefCamp
-
When you lose a loved one it HURTS and can leave you feeling lost and alone. It can be hard to know where to turn or how to cope with the overwhelming emotions that come with loss. That is where Remembrance comes in - to provide a gentle, playful, thoughtful and interactive way to work through grief and loss.
“Remembrance is the most well thought out, conversation provoking game on grief. It will help you laugh, tell stories and change the energy of what grief can be at times, helping put words to feelings, and putting back understanding within the family.” - Leah Hodous
Remembrance provides a safe space for people to gain a deeper understanding of their grief - with friends, family members and peers, as well as with strangers. You will have the opportunity to engage and connect with others who have experienced similar losses, providing a sense of community and understanding. You will remember, share and speak on many aspects of the life of the person you have lost, as well as gain new understandings on how you have been shaped and impacted by this person’s life. No therapist necessary.

-
Reggie Hubbard | Monday @ 7pm ET / 4pm PT
Grief, sadness and disappointment are unavoidable and essential parts of the human experience - gateways to deeper love, compassion, wisdom and gratitude. This workshop will use light asana, meditation, sound, music and conversation to create sacred space for all of the grief we all hold and shift notions of what 'acceptable' grieving looks like. We will lean heavily into the alchemy of community to normalize the expression of grief and hold space for one another. The way forward is through our present suffering together, not alone. And by allowing our grief to be expressed, not suppressed.
-
Sandy Vo | Tuesday @ 6pm ET / 3pm PT
In this session, Sandy will discuss the healing power of a grieving heart and how you can begin to transform your pain into your purpose through the practice of meditation.
-
Alica Forneret | Dr. Julie Shaw | Tida Beattie | Vinh;Paul Ha | Wednesday @ 6pm ET / 3pm PT
How might we remember the folks that we’ve lost along the way (particularly those who made us who we are)? How might we remember the pieces of ourselves that get stifled in our grief? How might we come together to celebrate and find power in our unique grief journey? Join Dr. Julie Shaw, Tida Beattie, and Vinh;Paul Ha around the campfire to answer these questions (and more). This event, “In the Night There Were Beautiful Monsters” is a collection of activities built by a team of BIPOC & LGBTQ* folks to explore the intersections of grief, identity, remembrance, reflection, and how our intersectionality can impact the ways we want to be held as we move through the world after a loss.
-
Naila Francis | Thursday @ 7:30pm ET 4:30pm PT
How do we grieve the death of someone we had a complicated relationship with? What do we do when the love we feel for them is tangled up in the messy, the hard, the complex? Join grief coach and death midwife Naila Francis for a session to honor both/and. The love and the challenges of loving the difficult people who were in our lives can co-exist. In this writing workshop, we'll make time to explore our truth around these relationships, to honor our experience and create room for what we might struggle to say when others might insist we focus on the good or not speak ill of the dead. This session will include a brief guided meditation, writing prompts inspired by poems of grief and loss and time to reflect and share. Please bring a journal and a candle with you.
