In December, we took our underground love affair to a pop-up shop in Silverlake called 8 1/2 by 11, brought to live by our friends at R.A.G.E., celebrating everything flat. The night was inspired by the traditional Chinese ritual of burning joss paper, or spirit money, that aims to honor ancestors by sending them the goods and cheddar they’ll need to make it to through the afterlife. Lennon had been gone for a few weeks to D.C., so we were happy to have her back, and happy to be able to welcome other friends and family into our magic land.
